Americana is a chef’s kitchen, made to enjoy the pleasure of cooking and sharing, designed for a newly built high-rise condo in Midtown Manhattan.
Transitional yet minimal, Americana is a kitchen entirely tailored for our clientele's needs, so we opened the space, originally enclosed between two walls, to increase the usability of this so fundamental aspect of each home.
The kitchen features a made-to-order door style, uniquely designed for this project, with integrated handles to give a sense of modernity and allow a cleaner use of the cabinets. This kitchen has been entirely manufactured in the US by highly skilled artisans who translated the Italian know-how of Alice innovating their manufacturing process.
Its design is sleek and compact, yet capable to integrate all the functionalities of a contemporary kitchen: such as hidden dishwasher, pull-out spice pantries, speed oven and double-oven. And, going above the possible, it concealed two wide storage areas, one for food and one for cleaning products, and hides the heating system, which totally disappear in its cabinetry.
Every single detail in this project has been made to order and locally for our clients, from the cabinet's color, to the backsplash’s pattern made with a unique glass mosaic, to the high table.
The table is a ready-made piece of furniture, the modern legs are uniquely designed to hold the solid oak top, which was once a joiner table from the early ‘900.
