The Bellavista RistoBar is a restaurant and bar located on the Sicilian shore of Agrigento and has been noticed on several magazines and articles, defined by Elle Magazine as one of the best beach bars in Italy.
From concept through execution, this project has been entirely developed on the spot by local artisans and developers, mainly using recycled or repurposed materials for its interiors, furniture, and lighting.
Some features are the 150 LED bulbs chandelier, entirely made to order for the specific area of the Bar, and all the outdoor illumination as well has been designed to be low and avoid any light pollution, typical of that region’s nightlife. The same logic applies to the graphic aspect of this restaurant design, which involved local artists to develop its logo concept while collecting familiar patterns of the tradition revised within a new aesthetic. Colors, as well as materials, have been chosen to merge with the surrounding beauty of the natural scenario, stretching along with the blue tones of the Mediterranean Sea, which changes from grey to dark blue depending on the weather. Wood is indeed the main material, revealed by the transparency of the finish which recalls the variation of the seabed further away.
The final result is one of the most successful restaurants in the area.
